What do you do when you have to design a harmonious space for a couple who’s individually different by nature. One is a banker. The other, a psychologist. Yet, we managed to build them a home that balances individuality with refinement.

How? Details.

Every gesture, from material choices to lighting, was carefully considered to create distinct yet harmonious experiences throughout the residence.

Full-height windows flood the interiors with daylight, allowing a play of light and shadow throughout. A dark wood–cladded walkway leads into a custom TV console and onward to the dry pantry, where pendant lights highlight marble-accented joinery.

The kitchen and dining areas are defined by contrast: a bright, welcoming breakfast nook paired with lighter cabinetry, set against a dining space wrapped in darker tones and ambient lighting.

Private rooms each carry a unique character. The guest room is softened with feature wallpaper, and the master bedroom is elevated by French contemporary detailing on the bedhead wall.

Light holds meaning only in contrast to darkness, and darkness reveals the true value of light. In this interplay, duality becomes strength—elevated and refined through detail.
